DECREE 70/2023/ND-CP REGARDING FOREIGN WORKERS WORKING IN VIETNAM
The Vietnamese Government has recently issued Decree No. 70/2023/ND-CP, which came into effect on September 18, 2023, and introduces modifications to the existing rules governing foreign workers in the country. Some noteworthy highlights of these changes include a significant relaxation of conditions for obtaining work permits or work permit exemption certificates, notable alterations in the application process, adjustments in the authority responsible for foreign labour management, and changes in reporting requirements. CONSOLIDATED ISSUES NEW DRAFT DECREE REPLACING DECREE 72/2013/ND-CP ON MANAGEMENT, PROVISION & USE OF INTERNET SERVICES AND ONLINE INFOMATION
The MIC published a new draft decree to replace Decree 72/2013/ND-CP on the management, provision and use of Internet services and online information and Decree 27/2018/ND-CP which amends Decree 72. The MIC plans to submit the Draft to the Government for issuance in October 2023. The documents have been submitted to the MIC Authority of Broadcasting and Electronic Information on 13 Sep by VBF.
