Consultation on the Draft Law to Amend the Law on Investment (17 August)
BritCham participated in the Ministry of Finance’s consultation session regarding draft revisions to relax market access conditions and remove foreign ownership restrictions across 11 key sub-sectors, reinforcing foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows. The draft is slated for National Assembly review in October 2026.

UK–Vietnam High-Level Conference on Fintech 2026 (12 August)
Organised by the British Embassy in Hanoi, the conference welcomed H.E. Iain Frew (British Ambassador to Vietnam), Madam Phan Thi Thang (MOIT Vice Minister), and H.E.
