During a meeting on 30th October 2023, BritCham, as a member of the Prime Minister’s Advisory Council for Administrative Procedure Reform (ACAPR), presented two reports on regulatory challenges in Vietnam’s energy and finance sectors to Mr. Ngo Hai Phan, the General Director of the Administrative Procedures Control Agency (APCA) under the Office of the Government of Vietnam.
These reports were funded by the Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office and were prepared by BritCham with support from the business community and APCA under the Office of the Government of Vietnam. The goal of these reports is to review and propose reforms to current policies in the finance and energy sectors, identifying obstacles and offering recommendations for an improved business environment.
