FLOURISH: A MUSICAL ODYSSEY CHARITY CONCERT
.
In his trip to Vietnam this September, the renowned British composer and pianist, Simon Proctor, will be performing his ‘Queen Concerto’ together with the Saigon Philharmonic Orchestra. On the other hand, the acclaimed Vietnamese pianist Luu Duc Anh will perform Proctor’s ‘Bond Concerto’ – bringing the themes associated with the famous 007 agent to Vietnam in what is truly a celebration of East-West talent, and a fitting tribute for the 50-year anniversary of diplomatic relations between the U.K. and Vietnam.
.
Held in the magnificent Saigon Opera House, Ho Chi Minh City, but also available online, this concert is in aid of two Vietnam-based charities – Saigon Children’s Charity and Newborns Vietnam.
.
Nutri-San is a seaweed technology company based in Vietnam and the UK. The title of the concert highlights the idea of ‘flourish’ and relates to the company’s mission to enable people, animals, and our planet to flourish now and in the future. What better way for us all to flourish than through an evening of music! We hope you will join us on this ‘odyssey’ and embark on a journey through the musical landscape that makes up this truly magnificent program.

Johnnie Walker Blue Label is a velvety smooth whisky with a remarkable depth of flavour. Inside every bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue Label are incredibly rare, handpicked whiskies from the four corners of Scotland – each bringing unique flavours and a distinctive character of their own.

Only 1 in 10,000 casks in our unparalleled reserves of 10 million maturing Scotch Whiskies has the richness and character required to intricately craft Johnnie Walker Blue Label, including irreplaceable casks from long-closed ‘ghost’ distilleries – including Port Ellen and Port Dundas (1). These whiskies are selected for their smoothness and deep flavours – rich fruits, smoke and refined vanilla sweetness.

When they are perfectly balanced with younger, more vibrant whiskies they open up, bringing layers of effervescent flavour to this remarkable Scotch. It’s a whisky like no other.
.
PLEASE DO NOT SHARE WITH ANYONE UNDER THE LEGAL PURCHASE AGE FOR ALCOHOL. DRINK RESPONSIBLY.
—————
(1) Port Ellen and Brora recently reopened, prior to that these distilleries had not distilled whisky in more than 34 years. It will take many years before the character of those famous whiskies are close to being matched.
