The Single & Group borrowing limit issue under the draft Law on Credit Institutions has emerged as a crucial concern for both the banking and private sectors in Vietnam. This issue carries significant implications for the overall Vietnamese economy as well. BritCham, in response to the issue under the draft Law on Credit Institutions, has signed a joint letter with other chambers of commerce, expressing concerns and recommendations to the Prime Minister, National Assembly, and SBV Governor. Additionally, BritCham has actively participated in a meeting with the National Assembly on this issue and has been supporting the joint letter initiated by the UK Embassy on this matter.
