Position Title: Business Services Manager
Line of Report: Deputy Director
Duration: Full-time (40 hours/week from Monday to Friday) ___________________________________________________________________________
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Business Services Manager will join the Business Centre and is responsible for its day-to-day operations within BritCham Vietnam. Financially independent and part of the British Government’s Overseas Business Network Initiative, our Business Centre’s mission is to facilitate better trade and investment ties between the UK and Vietnam via a range of bespoke business services. Our solutions are designed to help UK companies quickly kickstart their business, accurately identify commercial and investment opportunities, grow exports and further develop their activities in Vietnam.
- Business Services & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate incoming enquiries, advise UK companies on trade matters and promote BritCham Vietnam’s business services
- Identify and develop potential leads for the Business Centre’s key services: Overseas Market Introduction Services, Business Development Representative and Inward Investment Facilitation Services
- Produce bespoke service proposals and deliver business services
- Evaluate and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies
- Actively promote and connect UK businesses to Vietnamese partners and vice versa
- Work closely with the British Consulate General/Department for International Trade to support British interests in Vietnam
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of UK companies and stakeholders, including DIT Trade Advisers and other British Chambers globally
- Develop and maintain an extensive network of high-level business contacts in Vietnam
- Administration & HR
- Maintain scheduled updates of the Business Centre’s customer and project pipelines
- Generate the Business Centre’s monthly Activity Reports and annual income forecast
- Marketing & Communications
- In charge of the production of sector reports, including: assigning topics, creating outlines, reviewing/revising drafts and designs
- Create a concrete communications strategy and content schedule for the Business Centre
- Work closely with Marketing & Communications Executive to publish relevant content for e-newsletters, website and social media
- Develop new ideas, directions, and venues for marketing and communications
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration or other relevant majors
- Excellent written and spoken English and Vietnamese
- Proven work experience in international trade promotion, business development, account management, customer relations
- Proven experience in managing client portfolio and supervising a high-performing team
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Strong attention to details and problem solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of tasks and complete work to high standards
- IT proficiency
