    BRITCHAM ADVOCACY


    On 28 April, BritCham Vietnam was proud to see member companies, including HSBC, Standard Chartered Bank, KPMG, and Dragon Capital, actively participate and share their expertise at a high-level meeting chaired by Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyễn Hòa Bình.

    On 28 April, BritCham Trade Working Group submitted official comments to the Ministry of Industry and Trade regarding the Draft Strategic Trade Control Decree. In its submission, BritCham welcomed the Government’s proactive efforts to strengthen Vietnam’s strategic trade control system in line with international standards and national security goals.

    On 18th April 2025, BritCham submitted its feedback to the National Assembly’s Committee on Culture and Social Affairs regarding the Draft Law amending and supplementing several articles of the 2012 Advertising Law.

    The Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA) has recently released a Draft Decree replacing Decree 152/2020/ND-CP (as amended by Decree 70/2023/ND-CP), which governs the employment of foreign workers in Vietnam, the recruitment and management of Vietnamese workers employed by foreign organisations and individuals.

    BritCham has submitted its official comments to the Vietnam Business Forum (VBF) in response to the Ministry of Finance’s Draft Decree on the Domestic Carbon Trading Floor. The feedback highlights key recommendations to strengthen the quality, transparency, and operational integrity of Vietnam’s emerging carbon market.
