This October, on Vietnamese Women’s Day, BritCham Vietnam and the Minh Đức Foundation invite you to an exclusive evening about the one thing that most often decides whether a woman’s business grows. Not talent, not ambition, but access. Set in the elegant surrounds of the Boudoir Lounge at Sofitel Plaza Saigon, The Power of Access brings together founders, entrepreneurs and senior corporate leaders from across the international business community for an evening of meaningful connection, honest conversation and new opportunity.

The evening opens with a panel of senior women leaders sharing what access has meant in their own careers, the doors that changed everything, who opened them, and how they now open doors for others. In Vietnam, 97% of women owned businesses never scale past micro or small (WISE, 2025), and the barrier is rarely talent or drive. It is access.

The conversation then leads into the launch of Mở Cửa · Open Doors, a twelve month sponsorship programme that turns that idea into action. It pairs established women founders with senior business leaders who commit, contractually, to open their networks, make genuine introductions and champion each founder’s growth. Sponsorship, not mentorship.
