BritCham Vietnam is delighted to organise a webinar titled “Education in the new normal” to provide insights from our experts in the education sector on their experience during the pandemic in Vietnam, how to further engage the students with the use of technology, along with educational opportunities and challenges for students in the new normal era.
Since the beginning of 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic has severely disrupted schools across the globe. According to UNICEF, around the world schools are closed for 77 million students. Vietnam, having had a very quick response to contain the pandemic as well as having the 3rd fastest vaccination roll out program is struggling to open up its schools again and bring students back to face to face learning. Students are now subjected to inconsistent Covid-19 regulations as each province sets its own rules. This is also in the knowledge that potentially lessons could be switched back to learning online if another outbreak occurs.
This causes educational institutions huge challenges on how they can assure education continuity throughout theses periods of uncertainty sand added regulations, with students potentially switching from online learning to hybrid, to offline learning once their area is Covid free..
