For over two decades, the British Chamber of Commerce Vietnam (BritCham Vietnam) has stood at the crossroads of bilateral commerce and corporate social responsibility. Established in 1991 and formally recognised in 1998 as the British Business Group Vietnam (BBGV), the very first licensed foreign business group in the country, one of our core commitments has always been giving back to Vietnamese society that hosts our businesses and families. 

The BritCham Charity Fund represents the heart of this commitment, transforming corporate synergy into direct, life-altering community support. 

How Funds are distributed 

• 40% Dedicated to Long-Standing Core Partners: We provide consistent, reliable financial foundations to four of Vietnam’s most respected, high-impact non-profit organisations: Christina Noble Children’s Foundation, Saigon Children’s Charity, Newborns Vietnam, and Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation. 

• 40% Open Application Project Funding: External NGOs and charitable groups licensed in Vietnam can apply for direct project grants. Every application is evaluated by the BritCham Chairty committee to ensure maximum viability and field impact. 

• 20% Emergency Disaster Relief Fund: Retained specifically to offer rapid-response funding to local authorities and communities during unpredictable natural disasters or emergency crises in Vietnam.
