On 18th April 2025, BritCham submitted its feedback to the National Assembly’s Committee on Culture and Social Affairs regarding the Draft Law amending and supplementing several articles of the 2012 Advertising Law.

In its submission, BritCham welcomed the Government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the legal framework for advertising in Vietnam and foster a fair, transparent, and investor-friendly business environment. However, the Chamber raised concerns about certain provisions—particularly those concerning online advertising, which are currently impractical and overly burdensome for advertisers.
