BritCham Vietnam Launches Trade Working Group to Enhance UK-Vietnam Business Relations

    On 20th March 2025, BritCham host the inaugural meeting of its Trade Working Group (TradeWG). The TradeWG represents a significant step forward in strengthening the commercial ties between the United Kingdom and Vietnam.

    The meeting was chaired by Mr. Khoi Nguyen, from the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, who provided a comprehensive overview of the group’s mission and objectives. The inaugural meeting was attended by a distinguished group of participants, including BritCham Vietnam Chairman, Denzel Eades, the Executive Director, and the Head of Hanoi Office. Their presence underscored BritCham’s commitment to supporting the growth of bilateral trade.

    A diverse range of industries were represented at the meeting, demonstrating the broad appeal and potential impact of the TradeWG. Participating companies included ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales), VPS Securities, KTPC (Key Trusted Partner Company), TRG International, and Edge Worldwide Logistics, AI Forecast (aiconsultant.org). This breadth of expertise will be invaluable in achieving the group’s objectives.

    The participants expressed strong enthusiasm for the TradeWG’s potential to deliver tangible benefits to its members and contribute to the overall prosperity of the UK-Vietnam economic partnership. The group is widely recognised as one of BritCham Vietnam’s most promising initiatives, poised to play a key role in shaping the future of trade relations between the two countries.
