BRITCHAM ADVOCACY

The online meeting featured an introduction to BritCham’s Energy Working Group (EWG), where members presented their roles and initiatives. Both parties discussed potential collaboration opportunities between BritCham’s Energy Working Group and the Vietnamese Embassy in the UK, exploring ways to enhance engagement and cooperation on energy sector issues.

Ms. Rogers updated on TheCityUK’s work with MPI on developing the IFC in HCMC and Danang. They are focusing on a comprehensive policy framework, with a draft resolution expected in February or March. TheCityUK will release a 3-4 page of the report prepared, with a possible meeting with the Prime Minister in March or April. IFC legislation and budgeting are targeted be available by 2026.
