BCAC MEETING WITH MS. ANNA ROGERS FROM THE CITYUK

Ms. Rogers updated on TheCityUK’s work with MPI on developing the IFC in HCMC and Danang. They are focusing on a comprehensive policy framework, with a draft resolution expected in February or March. TheCityUK will release a 3-4 page of the report prepared, with a possible meeting with the Prime Minister in March or April. IFC legislation and budgeting are targeted be available by 2026.

TheCityUK is also leading trainings for senior government officials, MOF, and SBV. BCAC emphasized the need for IFC to focus on green finance, capital markets, and capacity building, agreeing to coordinate with TheCityUK where relevant.
