The Director Certification Program (DCP)

The Director CertificationProgram (DCP) is organised by the Vietnam Institute of Directors (VIOD) on 16th, 17th, 18th, May 2024, at Rex Hotel Saigon, supported by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), aims to enhance corporate governance (CG) practices and leadership effectiveness. Updated in June 2023, the program emphasizes the Board’srole in sustainability issues, integrating Environment, Society, and Governance (ESG) principles.

Through practicalcase studies and discussions, participants will better understand the implementation of two unique tools: the CG Progress Matrix and the Climate Change Control Matrix, which help you clearly understand your company’s progress and the effectiveness of the strategies set out in ESG. Participants also gain insights into formulating ESG strategies, stakeholder engagement, and governance in a changing market landscape. DCP, part of VIOD’s Governance Excellence Programs (GEPs), offers academic rigor, practical relevance, and access to a global network of CG professionals.
