From 2011-2017 he worked on EU affairs, serving in Brussels and London with a period as Head of Mission in Latvia. From 2018 he served as Prosperity Counsellor, later Deputy Head of Mission in the British Embassy in Brasilia, overseeing the UK&#8217;s partnership with Brazil on economic reform and sustainable development. Iain graduated in History and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
