On June 20, 2024, MOIT Deputy Minister Nguyen Hoang Long met with BritCham Board Members, the British Corporate Advocacy Council (BCAC), and the UK Embassy at the MOIT headquarters. BritCham Chairman Denzel Eades, BCAC representative Nitin Kapoor, and UK Deputy Ambassador Marcus Winsley congratulated Long on his new role, recognizing his previous position as Vietnam’s Ambassador to the UK. BritCham and BCAC also co-signed a congratulatory letter to Deputy Minister Long. He expressed gratitude for the UK’s investment and support, including the Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP). Long highlighted the significant growth potential, noting planned investments by major British energy corporations, and emphasized the crucial role of BritCham and the British business community in strengthening the partnership.
