Celebrate Burns Night Supper: A night of heritage and distinction 

Set at Sofitel Saigon Plaza, Burns Night Supper brought together business leaders and cultural enthusiasts for an elegant celebration of Scotland’s national bard, Robert Burns. 

Ho Chi Minh City, 17 January 2026 – The British Chamber of Commerce Vietnam (BritCham), in partnership with the Saigon Whisky Society (SWS), was delighted to host the annual Burns Night Supper on Saturday, 17th January 2026. Set within the sophisticated surroundings of the Sofitel Saigon Plaza, the evening was a magnificent tribute to the life and legacy of Scotland’s National Bard, Robert Burns.

An evening steeped in tradition 

The event captured the quintessential spirit of a traditional Scottish Burns Night, blending cultural ceremony with modern elegance. Guests, many adorned in national attire and tartan, were treated to a curated cultural experience.

The “Great Chieftain o’ the Puddin-race” was heralded into the room with the traditional “Address to a Haggis” delivered with the poise and intensity this two-century-old ritual demands. A magnificent five-course, Scottish-inspired feast was served, showcasing the richness of the highlands in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City.

The gourmet menu was perfectly complemented by a premium selection of wines and spirits provided by our sponsor Pernod Ricard. Guests enjoyed a curated pairing experience that elevated the culinary journey, featuring sophisticated labels that toasted to the spirit of the occasion.

The night concluded in the time-honoured fashion, with a spirited chorus of “Auld Lang Syne,” celebrating the camaraderie and connections forged throughout the evening.
